Nepal is trying to close all its relation with India in the influence of Chinese ambassador in Nepal and this can be seen in the all recent activities by the Nepal current government in the leadership of KP Sharma oli,
A few days before Nepal has issued its new maps including some parts of Indian territory into their maps as they claims that these parts are belongs to Nepal but at current India is administrating those parts and its clear in all international communities that these parts belongs to India.
Influence of China on India Nepal relations
Indian and Nepal shares a open border without any security because of high interest of public in each other and deep corporation of government to government but now from last 6 to 7 months Nepal government doesn't want to be a trusted ally of India because of their own political reasons as the whole world know that Chinese ambassador has saved the current government and secured them to be remain in power.
We can see clear influence of China in Nepal internal politics by most recent activities on India Nepal border and killing of an Indian citizen by Nepal border police, creating a land dispute with India and comments on Indian culture and Indian politics by prime minister of Nepal KP Sharma oli.
Nepal will send New maps to UN and Google maps
Now Nepal officially announced that Nepal government will send its newly issued maps to United nation and Google maps, the maps which includes several parts of India.
Nepal has made it clear that Nepal doesn't want to be a ally of India and want to make a new friend which is China.
Is this step of Nepal affect India ?
This step of Nepal to send maps to United Nations and Google maps actually doesn't affect India in any way because United Nations will only issue the maps with a clear disclaimer about disputed areas and United nation will not officially accept this according to their rules.
