India has not learned anything solid yet from the bad and very harsh experience with China , all previous and even current governments tried to please China for peace but now this is cleared after ongoing standoff with China over ladakh border that China is not a country for deep relations and economic cooperation.
China have a big vision and a stretegy of expansion that's why they claim several parts of other's country land.
China is trying to bully it's neighbours by threatening war but now at this time there is not only India in the list there are a lot of other countries who have faced a devastating attitude of China like Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and many more island countries in the region of South China sea.
Relations between India and China are completely gone worse because of China expansionist stretegy and this standoff event with China has changed the mindset of leadership in India,i we notice the diplomacy of India towards China there is a clear signal of placement and soft diplomacy by Indiab now after Deadly clashb India and China at ladakh border India has learnt a lot of things and the change in behaviour can be seen easily in the decisions by the government of India.
Signs of soft diplomacy
1. India has a strong voice in international politics and institutions but India has not raised it voice against violence in hongkong and in legal amendments in Hong Kong laws by Chinese government.
2. No construction on India China border and no investment in backward areas along the line of actual control.
3. No efforts were made to reduce dependence on China for electronics and other essential supplies like active pharmaceutical ingredients for pharmaceutical companies and imports in energy sector which plays a big role import from China.
Change in behaviour and offensive diplomacy against China by government of India
1. Ban on 59 Chinese applications including popular mobile application tiktok.
2. Removing Chinese companies from the list of government tenders for infrastructure and other services.
3. To promote local for local program to reduce dependence on Chinese products.
4. Decision to sell only indigenous things in the canteens by home ministry of India.
5. Blocking Investments by Chinese companies in share market of India because of illegal acquisition of companies.
These are the sign that Indian government has changed its strategy towards China.
